We are a business design consultancy.

Our work is focussed to develop conscious leadership, build innovation capacity & upgrade organisational culture - fit for the 21st century.

Founded by Al Kennedy to offer a unique type of consulting partner - blending regenerative business strategy and creativity.

We work with leaders to re-design their organisational operating systems - evolving to becoming future-fit for the 21st century. Reframing business challenges using our design-led ‘Living Business’ approach - crafted as human-centred, purpose driven and inspired by Nature.

Every client relationship is unique and designed accordingly to fit ambition, challenge, time and budget. We like to design our work in ‘cycles’ or sprints. Deliberately designed as a highly networked consultancy; this allows for collaboration with expert partners as each project demands.

Our work is aligned best with progressive, mission-driven business leaders who are looking to be part of the solution - not the problem.

Better business by design.

We are in a time of significant change.

We’re seeing rapid change brought about by the environmental crisis, globalisation and pervasiveness of technology — but our organisational constructs and business ‘operating systems’ have essentially remained the same; based on 20th century production line principles.

The mechanistic philosophy of modern organisations can no longer deliver the social, economic and political outcomes that we desire.

The old tools no longer work. It is time to redesign.

It’s broadly acknowledged that our organisations and institutions are being reshaped by the impacts of significant macro forces and mega trends. This is an era characterised by accelerating change, interconnected opportunities and challenges, and altered expectations from employees and customers. This environment requires leadership which is in-tune with these forces and can muster their own energy and that of the organisation they steward.

We need a new type of model for imagining and wiring future-fit organisations.

In times of turmoil, the danger lies not in the turmoil itself - but in facing it with yesterday’s logic.
— Peter Drucker

Organisations are living systems, not machines.

This where design can lead the transformation required in how we develop appropriate operating systems.

We need to rebuild from the ground up the way we design organisations.

Organisations of the future will need to embrace concepts like resilience, emergence, collective intelligence and self-organisation – all living systems concepts.

Less mechanistic. Less like top-down, hierarchical machines. More like living, evolving, learning and resilient organisms.

We believe that organisations are living systems, not machines.

This approach involves leveraging the principles of ecosystem design, living systems, platform and network dynamics and accepting a more complex and dynamic model. We need to view our organisations as the living systems they are — which are impacted by their environment and continually reform themselves.

We cannot solve our problems with the same thinking we used when we created them.
— Albert Einstein

More human.

Being [more] human is and will continue to be the major advantage in business as technology becomes ever more pervasive.

You need to rewire with people at the heart – and design has a big role to play.

If we are to transform the way we think about business value.

A company must ‘breakthrough’ on all three dimensions of the Triple Bottom Line if it is to be considered truly future-fit.

Organisations of the future will need to become more human, creative and adaptive.

The future of business is life-centred. Designed for ‘People, Planet & Profit.’

The most exciting breakthroughs of the 21st century will not occur because of technology, but because of an expanding concept of what it means to be human.
